The characters in this use knives, daggers or improvised weaponry, and most are considered greedy. The characters are all women, a reference to Warhammer 40,000's 'Adepta Sororitas' army, formerly known as the 'Sisters of Battle.' The Highwayman having a past of criminal activity, the Runaway pickpocketing during her first shrine of reflection, Grave Robber poisoning her husband and PD stolen a body for her research. This is a reference to the Van Halen song with the same nameĮach character is in some way unscrupulous. The Wizard Of Oz, with Graverobber being Dorothy, Plague Doctor as Scarecrow, Hellion as the Cowardly Lion, and Man-at-Arms as Tin Man. This likely refers to the graverobber's noble lineage giving her what most would assume is the safest spot in the party.
The "Inspection" part comes from the player "inspecting" this new move. This references Point Blank Shot on the Highwayman, his first unlockable skill. This references the starting 4 characters in a different lineup, which takes away one melee move from Graverobber to allow Plague Doctor to use her Melee move. The Plague Doctor acts as the dealer, while the rest are cards getting shuffled around, because of their abilities The most basic roster that many will form to start, named similar to the starting four heros team name from DD1, "The Usual Suspects" to honor them most likely.
Teams are sorted by the Hero order at the Alter. These combinations are not necessarily all recommended as the "best" party, nor even as necessarily "strong" combinations a few may prove more clever than practical - use at your own risk.Īs of the May 8th 1.0 Release patch there is 157 combos.
